Description
CBSCC, also presented as Career Bridge, is a placement management system created as a BCA semester project at St. Claret College. It brings student profiles, recruiter drives, and placement administration into one web application.
One process, three perspectives
Students can manage profiles and apply for opportunities; company users can review candidates; administrators manage records and recruitment schedules. The project grew out of a familiar campus process that otherwise relied on disconnected records and manual follow-up.
The matching workflow
The application supports eligibility filtering against academic criteria, application status tracking, and a resource hub for course and internship material. Its main design challenge was to keep separate roles working from the same placement data without giving every user the same responsibilities.
Implementation
The repository identifies PHP 7.4, MySQL/MariaDB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHPMailer with Google SMTP. It was developed as a college project with S. R. Sandeep.
